This fall/winter season we have seen scarves become a wardrobe staple. Whether the students are wearing the scarves as a fashion statement or for warmth, they should be able to wear this accessory. However, a high school in New York has prohibited students from wearing scarves. This action happened after a boy wore a scarf, which they believed was a form of “gang paraphernalia”. While the boy said he didn’t support gangs and he was wearing it because it matched his outfit the school still took action and set the band on scarves.

i love scarves! it is one of my favorite parts of winter. i always get different hats and gloves to match all of my jackets. i love to feel cozy and look great at the same time!
That is absurd! How are the kids supposed to stay warm? Scarves are the best! The world is going waaay downhill. Everything is taken too far and becomes a legal issue. It's out of control. Scarves?! That's ridiculous.
